Latinx LGBTQ Film Festival

The Monterey County LGBTQ Collaborative presents a free film festival featuring films about LGBTQ experiences in Latino communities in California and Mexico. The fully bilingual event includes Salir, a documentary about trans people living in Mexico City, and Tres Gotas de Agua, a story about coming out in migrant families. After a warm reception in 2016, this is the second iteration of the event, aimed at promoting visibility and support between members of local communities. 

Pajama Party at East Village

There’s nothing more comfortable to dance in than pajamas, so head over to East Village on Friday night for local synth-pop duo Lillie Lemon’s PJ party. Plenty of guest artists, including drummer Fergus, DJ MinceyFresh, and Des Moines, Iowa-based Ryan Stier, will share the stage. If “cozy” is your idea of a good party, then this is the event for you. Tickets are only $5 if you’re wearing pajamas.
