Sing We Joy Now with I Cantori di Carmel at Carmel Mission Basilica

Carmel chorus I Cantori di Carmel presents its holiday concert featuring Haydn's St. Theresa Mass with orchestra and soloists, director Sal Ferrantelli's "O Magnum Mysterium" and a new piece based on a Native American Poem by choir member Phoenix Eagleshadow. The chorus, a presence in Carmel for 35 years, is made up of volunteers from the community. 


Sister Act at Golden Bough Theater

Based on the 1992 movie, this musical comedy follows the hijinks of a singer who witnesses a murder. When a witness protection program hides her in a convent, she rallies the nuns to shake up their choir repertoire with gospel music and disco. 


15th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights in Pacific Grove

Festive floats, marching bands, dancers, and performers on horseback will be on display in Pacific Grove to kick off the holiday season this Thursday. Shops will also stay open late to extend festivities after the parade.

Carmel-by-the-Sea Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Friday, December 2, 3:30-6pm

Each year the city comes together to welcome Santa, hear the local middle school and elementary school choirs sing, drink hot cider provided by the red cross, and light the tree. And, Carmel Realty hosts an open house at our Ocean Avenue Office.  Following the tree lighting the Carmel Plaza also hosts its own open house until 7pm.
