As the former CEO of an international firm, with operations on several continents, Malone had the opportunity to travel and live in exceptional places before settling in Carmel. When it came time to pick a place to raise a family, he and his wife chose Carmel-by-the-Sea. Malone’s work has always included putting together complex business deals, and helping people communicate effectively across barriers including different languages, customs, and cultures. Those same skills make him an exceptional representative of his client’s interests.
Within a short time Malone was a top producer with a clientele that expected and received great service. He was then recruited to be the Managing Broker of Carmel Realty Company as the company expanded from property management to residential sales, ultimately becoming the premier luxury real estate brand on the Monterey Peninsula. During his tenure as the Managing Broker, Carmel Realty Company grew from four founding agents to a group of 30+ of the best and most professional agents in the area with sales of over $600,000,000 annually.
As the Managing Broker, Malone dealt with the most complex and challenging transactions faced by the company, its agents, and Carmel Realty’s clients. He is a lecturer at international real estate conferences, enjoys mentoring agents, and has worked with the company’s most sensitive and high net worth clients.
In 2013 he was elected to the Monterey County Association of Realtors and went on to serve as the Board’s president.
